I've put a lot of effort into installing a few of these devices. Seemed to work fine. A day later I walked across the room and touched one of the controllers and there was a little spark, as often happens in winter. The controller stopped working; neither the passage of time nor the removal and reapplication of power could restore it. This is an item that must be touched in order for it to work and does not have ESD protection. Hence it is useless. It cost me time and trouble, as well as its price.
