The picture is a bit misleading.

I haven't checked the specs on this item but my old lumbar support is paper thin. I thought it might just be a ticket. From the picture it looks like this thing has some sort of rugged appearance, but that's not the case. It's just stuff. On the plus side, it attaches easily to a chair and is already there when we speak. It might stretch a little (it comes vacuum packed to save space), but it doesn't seem to offer any more support than my battered one. However, I would recommend this to anyone who, like me, sits at a desk for too many hours a day. You can't beat the price.
