Review on Battilo Knitted Luxury Chenille Blanket by Isaac Shankar

I was so excited to get this as it was the final part of my bed makeover. It had a nice bow and a piece of cardboard that said "Batillo". The other side was empty. My puppy immediately jumped onto the fur lining and we had to get him away as soon as possible. It matched the color and was soft enough, but not as soft as I thought it would be. I threw him on my bed to keep him away from the puppy. My bed is "pure white" but I covered it with a blue sheet for my old dog to lie on. Thank goodness most of the throw came on the blue and not the white. I sat down on my bed and pulled up the covers. The dark blue sheet was covered with what appeared to be brown maggots. I looked down, I was just like the puppy. I can't tell if it's falling off or peeling. And no fluffy balls. Just tiny bits of yarn. EVERYWHERE, EVERYWHERE, EVERYWHERE!. There were some on my white blanket, but the feather duster removed them fairly easily. I got rid of them as best I could, but I have terminal cancer and it would be too difficult for me to treat it myself. We wrapped the blanket in a sheet and will return it in the morning. It's sad because I chose each piece to give to each of my children after I died. And surprisingly, it was exactly the color I needed to complete my ensemble.
