This product does exactly what it says it does. It mounts easily on the wall and is perfect for your Google Home Mini. What I discovered very quickly was that mounting the Mini on the wall with the speaker horizontal rather than facing up made a huge difference in my ease of use and enjoyment of the sound. The Mini is primarily designed to transmit sound upwards, which fills a large room. With a horizontal orientation, most of the warmth in the sound is gone and it becomes much more directional. Walls have much more distorting shapes (bookcases, media centers) and soundproofing (curtains, tapestries). I also found that changing the orientation negatively affected the microphone used to receive my commands. I found I had to face the device and talk a lot more than before. All in all it's a great idea and does exactly what it was designed to do. I just don't know if this is the right solution for most people.
