Bought these for a ski trip in Wyoming. I had no cold weather gear and had to buy almost everything. My son has a pair of these for running and loves the fit and the fact that you can use your phone with gloves on. I decided to buy a pair of ski touring gloves as a "spare" glove, mainly for in and out of car use but not skiing. I bought heavier ski gloves. Well, I ended up wearing these thin gloves almost exclusively. I was amazed at how warm my hands stayed and I could use them much easier with my phone, helmet, boots, skis etc. Temperatures have ranged from the low tenths to low single digits. . I was on the slopes for almost 8 hours and only on the first day (which was the rainiest) did I have to put on thicker gloves for the last hour of skiing. I can't say enough about these gloves and how well they kept me warm.
