I am disabled and use a mobility scooter. My husband usually puts my scooter back on the lift and tightens it with straps etc. He has to have knee replacement and I need the scooter to get around in the hospital, but would have to put it back on the lift myself when I came home overnight. I bought this chair so I could sit and put the lift straps, etc on. It works wonderfully. It has a very wide seat, I didn’t feel any shifting, etc when I put weight on, etc. I am 5’6” and short legs, but my feet were able to touch the ground and no rubbing where chair bars are either. I did find trying to squeeze latch and fold it up a bit difficult, but doable. I gave it 4 stars because of the latch, but it is a good chair for obese or very large people to feel comfortable using.
