Review on 🖨️ HP Q5949X, High Yield Black Toner Cartridge - HP 49X by James Townsend

Incorrect printer selection for this item: Q5949X does not work with HP1160. I gave it one star not because the cartridge sucks but because the information on this site is correct. Whoever put the selecton data on this form either didn't care or had no idea about Shinol. Now I need to get the hassle or packaging, USPS, money back, and ordering another matching cartridge over with as soon as possible. It goes against the goal of online shopping convenience, doesn't it? In any case, the Q5949X matches the width but is about an inch longer than the Q5949A and doesn't fit some older printers - the lid doesn't close. HP has been known for playing this match-it game for a while. So if in doubt - google it or check where your cartridge ends up - it's best to check the HP website for compatibility and also skip the various know-it-all tips on the low performance high performance problem. It has to fit, so take a book.
