These socks are tight, so if you like loose socks, take more than usual. If you like compression, choose your normal size. My only concern with these socks is that they cannot be washed in our washing machine. I can remove them by washing my hands and scrubbing them a bit, but the washing machine leaves dark scuffs that look like stains. They are definitely upscale and I have a lot of fun wearing them. :-)
