Yes, everyone is right. It's very small. But depending on what you want to use it for, it can be just the right size. It was perfect for my Dr. Seuss diaper cake. I put a real goldfish in it (for about an hour). It's not designed to hold fish permanently and I wouldn't recommend putting snacks in it, the top opening is too small for your hands. Since it was a little pricey, I couldn't find a small plastic fishbowl anywhere but Revain, so I was willing to pay a little more for it (cheaper than the gas it cost to travel all over town in search it.)
