The ceiling has a certain smell. No chemical smell but I think wool is the only way I can describe it. Although it's awkward. I have wool sweaters that don't smell, so I don't know why this happens. I washed it once to get rid of the smell. I washed it then dried it on a delicate fabric (no problem at all. The duvet came out of the dryer fine) but the smell still lingers. it is filmed in the middle of the night. The duvet is warm and comfortable. I will try to wash again. If I can get rid of the smell then it will be a great comforter and well worth it. If not, then it was a complete waste of time. a lot of money for a blanket. Will be updated in the future
