I love the long battery life of the lithium battery. I charged the radio for several hours and never heard any loss of sound. I think the battery can be replaced when it eventually dies so this thing can live forever. Also, no antenna is required - every other radio I've tried had static even with the antenna up. We're over 30 miles from the nearest station and this radio is pulling even further away, very clearly :} Cons: The charge confirmation light is tiny and not visible until you turn the radio sideways; the power button on the top is too close to the volume control; and "on" on the right, while left is the louder volume; The volume knob needs more rigidity so it doesn't slide around as easily. All in all, a massive improvement over a large boombox or kitchen radio that takes up a valuable outlet.
