Review on Watch Casio GA-100-1A1 by Ada Sz ᠌
A practical product, nothing to complain about.
I needed a watch every day. I wanted G-Shocks with a dual way of displaying the time, I liked the GA-100 with a negative display and in black. I buy G-Shocks in a checked pavilion, but it wasn’t available here, so I took a chance to buy in an online store. 25% discount finally spurred on the purchase. Later I found out that this is a fairly popular model and it is often faked. In practice, the model is quite pleasant, attracts attention due to its size, wide strap. In general, they work for their own money, although they could be cheaper even with the current price increase.
- First of all, it's G-Shock'i with all the ensuing pluses. Lightweight for their size. Fingers on the buttons do not slip. The moves are small and clear. Soft strap. Made neatly with the exception of the flaw indicated below.
- There is a flaw in the assembly, and most likely the watch left the assembly line with this flaw: the gray marks of the minutes do not match the black marks. It seems that the mechanism is shifted relative to the case by about 1 degree. It is surprising that in official photographs, with a close look, this can also be seen, only there is an offset of tenths of a degree. This does not affect the functionality, but with a double display of time it catches the eye. It seems that moving the assembly to China was not the best decision - the quality has ceased to be impeccable. The backlight is present nominally, except for the arrows, nothing is visible in the dark. The alarm clock is weak and made rather for show.
