This product does exactly what it promises. I've been wanting a warming lotion for a long time. I'm always cold, but I also live in the Midwest where it's been cold for half a year and my skin gets dry and flaky. This makes my lotion amazing, especially after a shower, and my husband surprisingly loves it too. He loves it when I rub warm lotion on his arms and back. It's definitely very calming. This is a very simple car. You fill the cup with your lotion, turn it on and pump several times until the lotion is sucked through the pump. It takes 1-2 minutes to heat up. Note that the power indicator will turn off after a few minutes. However, this is not a malfunction (at first I was confused). This thing just heats the lotion it sucked into the pump so the lotion cup doesn't get baked and dry. So it switches off until it is needed again - when you pump everything, it is already sucked in and heated up. The instructions state that the mug is dishwasher safe and has stood up well on the top shelf. But for the record, the book says you can't add massage oil. I know this is a question that gets asked above all the time.
