A classic trick - a few hours of practice should give you the skill you need

Before I get to the point, for those of you who are looking for your kids, friends, or spouse, here's one Breakdown of the trick (not to mention the actual disclosure). I used to sell that in my shop, there just wasn't a nicer wooden version. I would say it's good for around 8 years and older. I would suggest doing 2 to 3 hours of general practice to gain the real skill needed to get the job done. It's an easy skill, but you'll have to practice to get it smooth or the trick will look like crap. Execution: You show an empty racket. You're adding a coin (quarters are too big), so in this case we're showing a penny. They say paddling makes money. Then you show the cents on both sides, so your money doubles. Repeat with a nickel, repeat with a dime. Pull out two pennies, a nickel, and a dime to prove the money actually doubled. Then say it makes money all the time, and show that it only makes one dollar bill appear (I prefer using a hundred for shock value). Then remove it and show that the whole trick is done with mirrors. They show mirrors on either side of the rudder (although they weren't there to begin with). The professional move is to show a $100 bill on both sides and add an extra sleight of hand to add an extra $100, but that's a lot more complicated so I wouldn't mention it (wizards will know how to do this added part calculated). In a nutshell. , it's an incredibly powerful effect that requires hours of serious practice on a slate and at least a couple of performances in front of a mirror to pick up the pace for the actual performance. Ok, the quality of the article. I would say it's good but it doesn't look as high quality as the photo. However, it is MUCH better than the green plastic version that uses rubber bands that often break. It comes with high quality thick rubber, which cannot be compared with regular rubber. I got 8 straps total and the trick used 3. They'll last a long time (unless you're driving in a hot car or something) so I probably won't need a spare strap in forever. If I do that, I have 5 extra. The paddle itself is actually made of wood, nice but not as nice as in the photo. The mirror portion appears to be glass, not the crappy sticker that the aforementioned green plastic spatula has. In summary, it was worth the $12 I paid for it. I bought this to complement my higher level magical gear which I still use for family shows and performances. This is a trick that simply needs to be in an amateur magician's arsenal.
