Like many people, I currently work from home. While I don't call myself paranoid, I felt a little strange installing Teams (and the rest of the Office 365 suite) on my _personal_ desktop. Teams has access to your camera, microphone, and screen. Apparently these things aren't kept under wraps, but I thought it best not to risk it. I just turned off my UV camera and headset when not in use. Well it's a pain. What is better? RIITOP USB Extension Cable with ON/OFF Switch (Data and Power 2-Pack). Why? Well, you just plug the RIITOP extensions into your peripherals (in my case it's a headset and a UVC camera) and you get simple thumb switches to disable/re-enable devices. It meets my privacy goals at a very low cost. The only improvement I would suggest is that the switch location should be more visible at a glance. To their credit, RIITOP marked "on" with a raised grid, but I went ahead and added some red tape. recommended
