I recently got an iphone 6s plus and wanted an armored case and vertical leather case. Just in case I bought Spigen Tough Armor Tech https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B013TKNNEC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Great case, I really like it. For the vertical holster I chose the Turtleback brand. In the reviews and responses to questions, it was said that this particular phone would do in the case. Of course, it is suitable if you like to take the phone out of it with two hands. Very tight, not possible. After a long search I finally found this Hengwin holster. First I paid full price for this item. No discounts or anything, this is a real review. By the way, about the real thing. Wow! That's great skin! It is soft and looks/looks conditioned. This is exactly the kind of skin you want: over time it forms around the phone and fits like a glove. The design is also how you want it: the sides are separate pieces of leather, making this holster essentially foldable (which is exactly how this holster folds with your phone). Unlike the Turtleback brand holster. They have a piece of skin on the sides and front and another on the back and valve. The edges running from the front to the side were shaped seams. Well done I add. But instead Hegwin made it down to the size of the phone, with the Turtleback the phone should already fit in a holster. Any stretching would stress the seams and over time it would not work. Most likely, this would cause the seams to fail. By the way, for sewing. This Hengwin is very well built. Including a healthy mix of double and single stitching. All stitches are laid out perfectly, no traces of thread sticking out, and I certainly can't tell where they start and end. Perfection. The finish is beautiful so let's talk about the fit. I measured a lot with digital calipers before buying, but I'll spare you the numbers and use non-professional descriptions. (Remember my 6s Plus is encased in a thicker case) Size: Dead. If my phone was just 1/8 inch larger in the case, this holster would not close. I will mention this later. Width: Exactly what I wanted. There's a little more space. So if I slide the phone all the way to the side in the case and stretch the leather part of the case, I can attach a pen or stylus if it's no higher than the phone. Depth: Again exactly what I wanted, a little more space. This holster only has one phone in a case, the sides are a little folded. There's not much room, but I can slip in an ID, card, and some bills to keep this holster full. Despite this extra space, thanks to the ideal height of the case, all I can do is put my phone in, close the holster, shake the daylight out of it. the phone doesn't move. I also give credit to the holster lining and body material. This not only keeps the flip closed, but I can open the flip with one hand and pull my phone out. It doesn't slip out like clockwork โ there's a little recoil โ but I definitely don't need two hands to retrieve my phone, and there's definitely no struggle, unlike the signature Turtleback holster. The clips and the clip system are connected with a D-ring on the back of the holster. I'm not sure I'll ever use clamps, but it's nice to know I can. The only thing I liked about the Turtleback compared to this Hengwin is the rotating clamp. This non-adjustable belt loop of the Hengwin, despite good workmanship, does not allow it to adapt to my body shape on the bike/bicycle. Knowing it's a five star holster. Desire for the best gives this holster 4 1/2 stars, rounded up to five stars. Since I know first hand that there is no better holster, I stand by my assessment.
