Review on ReaSnow Cross Converter N Switch Nintendo Switch by Neil Bodell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great performance but could be easier to manage.

The Reasnow S1 never cuts corners or edges. It works exactly as advertised, feels incredibly smooth, runs on almost every modern console and, dare I say it, looks as professional as a gamer could wish for. The only thing I can say is the setup process. A few failed attempts to get it working, reading and re-reading the online manual (honestly it should have come with the S1) and a lot of trial and error getting it set up the first time. It really could be explained better and some topics aren't covered in the manual so I had to read the forums to find out. However, I finally got it working. Despite the rather complex structure, the performance more than made up for it. I suddenly felt like I could reach my full potential in games. I mainly use it on my Nintendo Switch and I've had so many problems with games like Splatoon 2 and Paladins just because I couldn't aim for my life. I knew all the tips and tricks to play like a pro, but no matter what I did, I just couldn't aim. Even aim assist didn't save me. Although it took me a long time to get used to the new control scheme, as well as some trial and error in choosing the most comfortable keys, I now feel I can always play higher than my former potential. Even if I can't make it to the professional league, at least I can win now. But seriously, the price of the S1 is worth it. If the average hit rate in Paladins is then Reasnow S1 is as professional as it gets. Period.

Pros
  • It has built-in professional mouse optimization for FPS games. You can easily aim accurately and steadily with your favorite mouse and keyboard.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
