This replaces ER's cheap mesh bandage for a dislocated shoulder. It's definitely more comfortable, easier to put on and allows for forearm/hand use. This is NOT for sleeping as it stretches too much in the bicep area and the velcro strap comes off easily when you are half asleep trying to get comfortable in bed. Several times I woke up with the chest strap fully unbuttoned or slipped down, allowing my aching arm to stretch too high. Works well when awake as a reminder of your injury.
