worked like a master. It turned out that both my worm gear and my final drive were destroyed. The odometer didn't turn. Ford really screwed it up when they decided to make the gears out of plastic that corroded over time due to the lubricant used. The hardest part of the installation was removing the light switch handle on my 1995 Ford Mustang. I used a small "hook" from a coat hanger to help with this. Be careful or you'll break the handle, it's cheap plastic too. then two screws for the front panel of the cluster and two screws for the cluster itself. You will need torx screwdrivers, not flat or Phillips screwdrivers. I believe it was #15 and #20 to get to the gearbox.
