I wanted a container to stand on the bathroom counter to clean the clamps. I used to put them in a coffee mug and clean them that way, but I found it quite rude to walk by and see them sitting in a coffee mug, especially since my husband is a germ-phobe. I can clean them in this container, close the container while they wash, and when I'm done I can pour in water and support the clear insert on the back of the container while my retainers dry. Once they are dry (since they dry on their own) I simply remove the clear insert from the backing and place it in a storage cup along with my mounts. So brilliant!
