On the outside, the shoes have a carefully stitched upper with a rubber platform sole with no heel lift. The inside of the shoes is lined with soft leather, except for the foot platform, which is made of a rubber-like material. Regarding the fit: These shoes run small. Of course, buying shoes online is always risky if you have never bought that particular shoe. Sometimes we are lucky, sometimes not. The shoes fit perfectly without socks. I can wear them with thin socks. I walked in the sneakers and they are comfortable. Conclusion: These attractive, well-made leather sneakers are a bit small. Consider ordering half a size larger. Otherwise recommended.
