Beautiful and bright, but not "on the face " bright. Love her!

These lamps have a lumen output of 40W but only consume 5W per lamp. This in itself is a big plus. Some LED bulbs are bright white, which I refer to as "straight to the eye", while others are more subdued and more like traditional incandescent bulbs. These are the last ones. I replaced half the bulbs in my chandelier with these and I have to say the light is brighter than before, but it's definitely not a super bright LED. If I didn't know better, I'd say they're incandescent bulbs, because. They have the same warm light as incandescent bulbs. Lots of light – and even more, lots of harmless light. There are 12 of these in the box so won't run out anytime soon. I definitely give them 5 stars.
