Wire enters from side to exit in two different directions. but the hole is small. I used a drill to enlarge the hole without ruining the existing threads and removed the spacer on that side. 2 opposite holes look bigger. Nevertheless, it was very strenuous to tighten the wire. It took me a while to figure out that a 4-page block has 4 on each side that connect together. There are no instructions, so you'll have to figure it out yourself. It seems fairly durable and waterproof with good seals to be able to run underground.
