Very easy to assemble. The chair is comfortable too, just wish it was a little taller as it falls a bit when seated. But great and comfortable for the price. Be careful, food crumbs tend to get stuck in the lining around the edge of the seat. Even for taller people, it may not cover the entire back (if you care). For the record, I'm 5ft 9" and it cuts about an inch before it hits my shoulders. This can be a problem for tall people who like to recline. The chair is wide enough for me, but I see this as a problem for people with a heavy build. For reference, I weigh 175 pounds and can sit comfortably with my legs apart. but if I were 50 pounds heavier I would be uncomfortable. But that's just for my build and this size.
