Big disappointment. These shoes look great, fit well and have a durable and stable sole. But I've only worn them around the house and on the patio to decide if a size 11 would fit me (usually a 10.5) and was surprised to find a small scratch on the toe of one of the shoes. I was rather surprised to see that this slight abrasion had gone through the outer skin of the shoe and exposed the bottom layer. I wore them a little longer at home, wondering if it was my fault for accidentally scratching the sock on a very rough surface, and although I found myself doing it again somehow - now two scratches go through the outer layer very by simple use. I would return them, but of course they are no longer in new condition. What a waste!
