Can't justify buying a new Wacom Pro but can't convince myself to settle for a smaller device I took the risk of buying a refurbished one and I'm glad that I did that. There are software glitches that cause the occasional crazing (read sporadic sticky modifier keys), but overall the device has been a boon to my productivity. From what I've read, the issues I've had are also relevant to new device owners, so I don't feel like I've received an inferior product. The version I bought wears out the chainstays quickly, so I ordered a replacement with a smooth finish.
