I help rescue pets. We have a higher 3 story box/cage that foster children can stay in until they are ready to explore the rest of the home. Sometimes a small wild cat can be in a large dog cage. These hammocks were great because they are big and the straps are easy to adjust. They were very helpful as they gave the kittens an extra place to rest. Unfortunately I had to replace three of the four hammocks I bought in the last few months. I was hoping the previous two were lucky because we had VERY active kittens who wrestled and jumped on and off them. However, the hammock that broke today was only used for a couple of weeks with a very inactive little cat. As with the others, the latch broke. I would not recommend this product if you intend to use it with heavy pets, active pets, or in a room that is more than a foot off the ground. Shame as if the clasps were held together permanently I would probably give this a 5 star rating.
