Review on 🔌 Mediabridge 30-002-10B USB 2.0 with Gold Plating by Michael Copeland

Works great as a data cable but significantly slows down charging when used with an iPad. I ordered this extender for easier access to the iPad adapter that connects to the surge protector under the desk, and the few extra inches this extender provides allows for plugging and unplugging. However, I did notice that my iPad charged noticeably slower when using the extension cable, and this was confirmed by YZXStudio's USB meter. With extension: 1.6A max Without extension: 2.2A max Now that I have an iPhone 7 I tested again with similar results: With extension: 1.5A Without extension: 1.9A Both tests were performed with an original Apple 12W adapter.
