It should be an athletic shoe for running in hot weather. They had a nice design and looked comfortable. Pros: * They are very light because the sole is like foam so it's nice to walk in. The white vents are mesh, which is good for breathability when you're in the heat, but doesn't work well when it's raining. Your socks will get wet. The water will pass. * The shoes have a lot of cushioning and are very comfortable to wear. Good feeling when hitting the pavement. Cons: * Slim fit and shoes run small. When you feel your toes, they press against the front of the shoe. I compared them to other shoes in the same size 7 men/8 women and they were narrower. Shoes seem too small and too tight. I can't wear it because of the size. * The back of the heel slides up and down and rubs against your skin as you run. Verdict: It's a nice design and breathable enough to help with the heat but doesn't perform well. If I knew, I would have ordered a size larger. I love the crossed sole and the foam on the sole and the padding on the inside make it so comfortable. Unfortunately, after this review, it is no longer used.
