As soon as I removed my cast and put on a cam boot after foot surgery, I ordered this because the sole of the boot is so thick I knew walking was mine back would kill . It arrived very quickly and is worth every penny. I wear 5-1/5 shoes so I ordered a small. It goes easily and stays when I go. Very happy with my purchase. Update: After a few weeks of moderate use, the rubber bits that hook into the toe and heel of my shoes stretched somewhat, causing some awkward moments of them slipping and me getting out of them. Velcro helped, but not much. I took a shoelace and tied another strap closer to my ankle and it worked. If you wear anything smaller than a size 6, be aware of this issue and be prepared. But I'm glad I had this thing, it saved my back.
