Too dark? Not really. But I don't really need them. Well done, the bifocal line is visible but not particularly noticeable. The bifocal part is big enough for me. They are great for shopping or getting in and out of the sun. That's why I bought them - I have other bifocal reading glasses but not photo gray ones. good case. Update - I took them on a cruise and wore them A LOT. They may not look very dark, but they cut glare very well. The best part is that I can wear them inside to read, go outside and not have to change my glasses. I love her.
