I bought this bag for a trip to Europe and it works great! I pump it all over Italy and England. I have always felt that my camera is safe. The material is great and the bag is adorable. He got along great. Only thing is that in the rain the bag definitely got wet due to a waterproof sleeve but I never felt my camera was in any danger. However, while I was there, it was raining quite heavily. I got a larger size and put my 15.6 inch laptop in it, but I had to stretch it out a bit. Now it fits easily. When I was on an airplane, I had room on the top shelf for my laptop, a large hardcover book, a laptop charger, a camera charger, snacks, pill boxes, and more. It was tight and the lid didn't close all the way, but it was an airplane so I didn't care. The camera compartment would be small for a My Sony Alpha a7iii DSLR with a Zeiss 2.8/18 on it and a kit lens (18-35 I think?) Fits very comfortably with storage for other accessories but it would stretch to accommodate one big camera with many lenses. In short, if you're looking for a comfy, cute travel backpack that doesn't look like a camera bag (with space to store snacks/water etc.) and you have a mirrorless camera or a smaller camera with a few lenses - it is good choice!
