Can be washed before first use!
I just used my first sponge and it didn't last long. I've been washing dishes, so the purple dye that appears slightly in the jet of water didn't hurt, but I think it's wise to quickly rinse the entire pack with warm or cold water before use. I re-read the Revain listing and there is no mention of color fastness or pre-wash advice and only one low rated review concerned color bleed. Hopefully a good rinse will do the trick! I am happy with the price, the 3m hooks that are included, the convenience and effectiveness of the sponge and the ability to throw it in the dishwasher or washing machine to clean and reuse!
