Review on ASICS Gel Challenger 12 Womens Tennis Women's Shoes ~ Athletic by Jennifer Faiva

Update: tennis shoes not great

I'm used to gel dissolution and it's not the same, but it's good enough. I'm the perfect size 7. I bought a 7 and 7.5, 7 was tight and 7.5 was perfect. I debated which one to keep and took a chance at 7 and I'm glad I did. I played for an hour and then switched to my old pair. The next time I played an hour and a half before changing and the third time on the pitch the shoes were very comfortable. The Challenger 12 stretches quite a bit as opposed to gel dissolution so I wouldn't rate it. It's fairly durable but lacks an extra cushion. I chose the Challenger 12 because it's a lot lighter than the new Gel 8. I'd love to see Asics return to the Gel 6. It was her best tennis shoe. Comfy from the start, wide toe box, good looking, great cushioning. Update: I've been playing tennis in these shoes for about a month. Now that they've stretched to fit my feet snugly, they lack cushion or good support. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend shoes. They give me severe knee pain, which is usually due to poor support. Another update: I changed the insole for a softer one and after 6 months of wearing this model, three of us have foot pain on the court in the same shoes. the bottom of our legs. They are definitely not suitable for pillows. They work well as support, but not as pillows. I cannot recommend them. Went back to the gel dissolution although I'm not a fan of their redesigned 8. Why can't Asics go back to 6 resolution? They were the most comfortable tennis shoes out of the box.
