This sheet looks lovely on our crib's mattress. The rainbows run vertically (the long way of a crib mattress, not horizontally) and the colors are lavender, soft green, darker mauve and orange. I personally find the design more feminine than gender neutral, but of course that's down to personal preference. The sheet came in a small drawstring pouch made from the same fabric which can be used for a variety of purposes - don't throw it away! We will most likely keep spare outfits inside and keep them in the car in case of an unexpected release! The sheet is easy to lay on top of the crib mattress. The fabric itself doesn't stretch, but it fits well and requires a good amount of tension to fit really snugly against the bodice to ensure there is no excess fabric and risk of suffocation. Overall, this sheet is a joy to have on hand and has a very cute design.
