I'm using my Shure SE846 with a balanced 4.4mm cable and the results are amazing. The Shure SE846 easily handles the massive power of the Kann Alpha at any volume, delivering the same clarity, detail and high quality sound. Kann Alpha features a powerful 12Vrms output level amplifier to drive all types of demanding headphones. battery life is good, no defects; Of course, it depends on settings like gain, volume, file formats, etc. Can Alpha supports the latest music formats such as FLAC, ALAC, AIFF, WAV, DSD256, MQA and also supports Bluetooth 5.0 SBC wireless codecs, LDAC, aptX. HD etc. Lies very well in the hand, heavy but solid, well made with great materials. The installation process for streaming services isn't user friendly, but it works, and if we add up the sum of the pros, Alpha deserves a solid 5 stars, definitely ticks all the boxes.
