It's just a fan, not a mini air conditioner. The water compartment doesn't even produce cool air, even ice doesn't matter as the fan holes are very small. You'll need to use dry ice if you want this to work properly. The fan is quite powerful but quite noisy and not worth the price. There are better alternatives. There are actually some decent fans out there that cost the same as this one but run at different speeds and cover a larger area. save money
