but they did no good. So I bought this

At first I thought it was plagiarism. I was upset that I paid money for a piece of cardboard that a cat could scratch, but my wife asked me to grab one and try, which I did. And I have to say that I was wrong. My cat kept scratching my leather sofas and door frames, driving me crazy. We bought him one of those carpet scratching posts that has a hole for a fur and a dangling toy, but he won't scratch it. He just lies on it. I've tried all home remedies to keep my cat from scratching, but nothing helped. That's why I bought this. I sprinkled some catnip on it to attract my cat but I don't think I needed it. He went straight to him and loves him. I bought this about a month ago and am out of catnip and it still goes on all the time afterwards. I started by placing it on the arm of the sofa he liked to scratch on to convince him to use it instead and it seemed to work. I ended up taking him across the room to his other toys and now he's walking towards him. He still tries to scratch the furniture sometimes, but not as often anymore. I still hate that I pay so much for a piece of cardboard. Mine is a month old and needs to be replaced.

Pros
  • DOBLES toy as hide and seek with built in holes.
Cons
  • old
