In a quiet environment (at home, for example), the sound is acceptable: the bass is audible, and more or less detailed. But I use headphones in transport (bus, subway). You have to turn up the volume, which is why the high ones begin to give back to the brain with their hiss and whistle. The bass is completely gone. Voices like from a loudspeaker - flat and metallic. The reviewers of these headphones are pushing for an equalizer, but the headphones should sound fine WITHOUT an equalizer, especially if they are made by a company like Sony. Only a very undemanding listener should take it. I do not recommend to others.
