I bought this dress for my daughter for a photo shoot. She was a size 8 when I bought her and had a major growth spurt just before her pictures were due to be taken. This dress fit perfectly when I first bought it and still looked beautiful after her growth spurt when her other dress didn't fit and I had to buy another one size up. This is due to the flowy material and many layers of this dress, making it much more versatile in size. If you have a child between sizes or about to move up to the next size but aren't quite there yet, this dress will likely fit if you buy their current size and/or the smaller of the sizes. The dress was badly wrinkled when it arrived, but steaming at home smoothed out the wrinkles quite well. The material is fluid and rolls well (daughter tested and approved!), underneath is a soft layer of lining. My daughter absolutely loves this dress, says it's comfortable and the price is amazing.
