I was introduced to the world of drones by my friend who owns a DJ Mavic Mini. I love all the videos he posts and we did a really cool video shoot with the model and my dog using his drone. I didn't want to spend 1000β¬ so I decided to give it a try. The drone is his equal in every respect. If you are new to the drone world, I highly recommend doing your first few test flights in a park with a very large open space. I made the mistake of running mine and mine and in front of my house and it crashed both times. Surprisingly, the drone is very durable. On first launch, it hit a wall and broke one of the blades. Launched immediately after this crash and flew great even with a small chipped blade. The next time I hit a tree was in my front yard. The good thing is that this drone comes with extra blades in the box and you can order replacements and they are very cheap. This drone is very powerful. What my Mavic friends miss is that it doesn't fly as far. But I don't want to fly as far as he does. I uploaded a video to show you the mistake I made. I turned on the remote control first before turning on the drone. First you need to turn on the drone and put it in pairing mode and then turn on the remote controller. Then press the start button and it will light up. The left joystick controls the altitude. When you push the left joystick up, this drone takes off and climbs very quickly at full throttle. It's very responsive and you can climb slower by gently pressing on the left throttle. Even before you fly for the first time, you should know that the left stick, when pushed all the way down and held down, will bring your drone back to the ground and turn itself off after landing. You need to know this before flying this drone so you know how to get it back on the ground and knock it out. So the left joystick stick that sends the drone into the air is also your best friend when you need to lower and turn off the drone. The remote control has a nice stand that holds my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 perfectly. My phone is big. The mount accommodates it and smaller phones. Also note that there is a return to start button on the remote that will take you back to where you originally started. Drone hovering is very beautiful. However, it is a bit more wind and hover sensitive than my Mavic friends. The battery life of this drone is very good and should give you around 30 minutes of flight time. The drone comes with two batteries. Also included is a very nice soft quilted bag with multiple zipped pockets. Each battery has an LED indicator that shows how much time the battery has left. Overall, this is an excellent drone for beginners. The camera is very clear. I think this is a great drone to start flying. I personally don't think I'll go up and pay for the Mavic after driving my new drone. It's too much and I just as enjoy flying this drone for a third of the price. Yesterday my friend finally saw my drone and was shocked at the price. He didn't think it would be this good when I told him how much I paid for it. I really enjoyed working with this drone and it's a lot more fun than flying a kite.
