My 14 month old daughter is obsessed with soft blankets, she always carries them with her and wants to sleep with them in her crib and car. This blanket is thin, which is okay, but the threads unravel on the sides. It's not that big of a problem if I knew beforehand to cut it, but the day I found the thread unraveled was when I walked into her room in the morning and she had the thread around her neck and she couldn't get them. To press. She had red thread marks on the back of her head. Obviously, this one won't go to bed with her again.
