two weeks old and the fabric on the column is already falling apart. Very disappointing! This cat has never been able to tear anything, we have four scratching posts, a scratching post and a scratching post and everything is fine. (granted, four out of five items are sisal) but it didn't even last two weeks! On the other hand, it's nice, the bed is nice and soft, gives the cats the right edge by the window, the shelf has a vent at the end so it uses a space that would otherwise be empty. Unfortunately it was too good to be true. I would not recommend it. But in a way my experiment was a success, even if it cost more than the experiment should have cost - I thought I needed to provide an alternative to two different cat behaviors, and it worked great. Now I'm going to twist it and hide this torn piece, but I doubt it will last very long given how mangled it is. (Two weeks! And if it's not a scratching post. Do you already know cats?)
