I love my new monitor! The text seemed "broken" at first, but I was able to fix that by changing the contrast. Contrast with the monitor itself did not help much. You can customize it better with the built-in software. Here's how I fixed it on Windows 7 after installing the monitor drivers: Right click on the desktop and select "Screen resolution". Click Advanced Settings. Click the AMD Vision Engine Management tab. Click the button on the tab. In the Display Color window, move the sliders to adjust the contrast, etc. If you also have a text document open, you can easily see if the text is clear and easy to read. It took a lot of trial and error to figure this all out, so I hope this will be helpful to those reading this. As I said, after making these adjustments, the monitor was great!
