I live in Colorado and always suffer from the heat in the winter. I could never find a warm enough jacket! Due to last year's Snowmageddon storm I decided that this year I would go a little broke to find the best and warmest jackets for them. I needed waterproof and incredibly warm jackets. I've searched for hours and this jacket made it onto my list. I received the jacket and wanted to wait for the first snow to write a review. At first glance I was impressed with the quality of the jacket but was skeptical because of its lightness. How can a light winter coat keep me warm? The style of the jacket is very fashionable and of course suitable for all occasions. Today we had our first winter storm. While working in a cemetery in a hospital, I left work to return home early in the morning in 17 degree weather and crazy winds. I no longer worry about whether this lighter jacket will keep me warm. I got cold, but I've never been cold. The longer I wore the jacket, the warmer it got. Pockets are warm enough to keep hands warm without gloves. The hood keeps the heat in making the jacket warm and AMAZING all over! I like the reflective function of the omnidirectional heating and the comprehensive technical aspect. Although this is the most money I've ever spent on a jacket, I would never buy anything other than a Columbia with full heating and full tech features. It was money spent! I know I have great respect for Colombia! This jacket runs true to size
