I am a second generation window cleaner and have been in this business for about 27 years. 20 years of continuous window cleaning. This is the archetype, the original. This is the mop my father taught me how to clean windows with, and this is the mop I use to train my new employees. It hasn't changed much since Ettore Steccone patented it in 1936. Its balanced all-brass construction ensures durability, stability and predictability. Blade changing is easy thanks to the blade locking system. Many improvements have been made over the original design, including lighter materials, different blade attachment systems, and comfort improvements. It's still the sleek design I judge everyone else by. And I've used several. FYI, this is what I currently have in my bucket.
