You get what you pay for. This is a budget book bag from Case Logic that usually does really good stuff. You might like this backpack for the first few weeks you have it. Then you will start to see his mistakes. This bag must have been made from inexpensive materials because it doesn't stand up to the rigors of a normal student day. The laptop bag is big enough for a 17" laptop but doesn't have a cushion on the bottom so every time you put the bag down you'll bang the laptop on the floor. A backpack can hold all of your stuff, but after constant use and wear and tear from just holding your stuff, this bag starts to fall apart. It will hold your laptop, but it certainly won't protect it. Buy a protective laptop case or your laptop will break. The straps on the bag are thin and wear out very quickly. As a student who used this bag very often and had a busy student life with it, I would not recommend this bag. It seems that this backpack cannot be used or thrown.
