I bought this to replace the front turn signal bulbs on my car. The standard bulb is a 7443 dual filament bulb that works as a daytime running light in "Low" mode and as a turn signal in "High" mode. turn on your daytime running lights and leave your turn signals on for a few minutes (e.g. at long traffic lights or with hazard warning lights etc.), the difference between "high" and "low" disappears until you can no longer see the difference. If you turn off the lightbulb completely and let it run for a few minutes, the difference between high and low returns, but quickly disappears. If your parking lights are on when your headlights are on (like most cars) and you use your headlights, you're out of turn signals until you can stop somewhere. Your car (e.g. the rear turn signal) are in perfect condition. I would not recommend them for running lights + turn signals.
