my god. that's gorgeous. The material is soft and elastic. Not the cheap, silky kind of spandex, but more like a nice jersey sheet set or your favorite t-shirt. right places. Uh, my favorite material to wear, comfortable and flattering. My problem area is my lower abdomen. I have a somewhat flat stomach with hourglass curves but the cesarean pouch and the way it sits hides the pouch but suits my curves well. Also, LADIES LISTEN. Shapewear is not necessary! (Which is HUGE for me as I almost always wear SOME smoothing underwear). This sweater can be worn with cute wedges and embellishments, or with sandals or ballet flats and a messy bun, it looks just as cute. I LOVE that it's stylish but probably more comfortable than half the pajamas I have hahaha. For reference, I'm 5 feet, 47 inches tall. chest, 41 inches. waist and 51 inches. hips. (Usually XL on top and 2X on the bottom or a size 16) I ordered 2X and it was SOOO comfortable. I've noticed that after wearing it all day the material is a bit looser than it was at the beginning so I could probably do 1X OR 2X and either way it would be fine. But 1 wash and it bounces like new again. I have ordered 3 more colors. I couldn't help it. This is by far my new favorite sweater. Well, extra points to the seller for the quick delivery.
