I had two different monitors in my shopping cart when I ordered this one, but settled on this one after reading a few reviews. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry to buy to conduct a lesson and did not read the description of the entrance. (MY BIG MISTAKE). I assumed there would be plain HDMI as one of the options. The goal was to hook up my Sony a6400 and see my work live on the big screen. I had to buy a VGA to micro adapter to connect to the camera. However, the adapter's input gets confused with the monitor's "signal out of range" input and has become quite awkward. I've been trying to get this to work all night. There are camera settings as monitor settings are very limited. No luck. In case anyone had this problem and found a solution. Inform me. Unfortunately I missed the return date so I'll have to check. I would choose a monitor with a direct HDMI connection. That issue aside, the monitor itself is a basic monitor, light weight and will probably do the trick once I figure it out. Good luck with your purchase. Ps: For those who are curious, I attached the monitor to a Pyle monitor stand, which I also bought from Amazon and serves its purpose well.
